Punjab reports record decrease in costs of flour packs

The Punjab government has reported a record decrease in the costs of flour sacks across different divisions in the region, in a move pointed toward giving help to the majority.

This choice comes as a reaction to the public authority's obligation to facilitating the monetary weight on residents in the midst of financial difficulties.

As per Punjab Food Pastor Bilal Yasin, a 10kg sack of flour is accessible for Rs800 in Lahore and Sargodha divisions, while in Faisalabad Division, a similar pack is accessible for Rs830. Likewise, occupants of Sahiwal Division can buy a 10kg sack for Rs820, and those in Gujrat Division will find the cost set at Rs850.

In DG Khan Division, the expense remains at Rs860, and in Bahawalpur Division, it is valued at Rs870. Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, and Multan divisions witness a slight increment, with a 10kg pack being sold for Rs900.

Bilal Yasin underscored that this decrease in flour costs won't just help purchasers, yet in addition affect the costs of naan and roti. He said this drive is essential for the Punjab government's more extensive endeavors to lighten monetary stress on the general population and cultivate financial security in the area.
