In 2007, in the village of Mushahar in Bihar, India, a troubling incident occurred when a six-month-old girl was reported missing by her mother. Sadly, the child's body was discovered buried nearby after a search by the police.
The shocking twist came when an eight-year-old boy named Amarjeet Sada allegedly confessed to the crime. He reportedly told villagers about strangling the baby and even showed them where he had buried her. This was not the only instance, as Sada was also accused of killing his eight-month-old sister and his nine-month-old cousin.
Despite his young age, Sada faced serious allegations. He was said to suffer from psychiatric disorders, which might have contributed to his actions. Following his arrest, he appeared in court, but due to being underage, he couldn't receive a typical sentence. Instead, he was placed in a remand home in a nearby town until he reached 18.
Years later, as Sada reached adulthood, his whereabouts became a mystery. News reports from 2023 suggest that he was released at 16, living under a new identity. Despite being known as the youngest alleged serial killer, Sada's current situation remains unknown.
Comparatively, in the United States, Craig Price holds the title of the youngest serial killer in the country's history. Arrested at 15 in 1989 for four murders committed between ages 13 and 15, Price confessed to his crimes. However, due to his age at the time, he was tried and convicted as a minor. Despite being incarcerated, Price's troubles continued with additional charges, leading to further imprisonment.
