The Punjab Counter Psychological oppression Division (CTD) on Saturday said it has captured 14 thought fear mongers connected to prohibited outfits during tasks completed in various urban communities of the region, ARY News revealed.
In a proclamation gave today, the CTD said it led 147 knowledge based tasks in Sahiwal, Lahore, Gujrat, Gujrawala, Faisalabad and "thwarted a significant dread plot". It said 147 suspects were grilled and 14 asserted psychological militants were captured.
As per the CTD, the supposed psychological oppressors had a place with restricted associations Tehreek-I-Taliban Pakistan and Jamaatul Ahrar.
The assertion further said that hand projectiles, ad libbed unstable gadgets, detonators, preliminary ropes, flyers of restricted associations were recuperated from the ownership of the thought psychological oppressors.
The police have enlisted bodies of evidence against them and moved them to an "obscure area", it added.
This week, 588 brushing tasks were led in different pieces of the region, bringing about the capture of 79 suspects, the assertion added.
Prior to this, the Counter-Psychological warfare Division (CTD) professed to have captured seven fear mongers, including a commandant of prohibited Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), in knowledge based tasks (IBOs) across Punjab.
